The Dodgers' best pitcher, Hiroki Kuroda takes the mound Sunday against the underperforming New York Mets. Kuroda is an absolute stand-out in more ways then one when the rest of the Dodgers' starting rotation is examined. He is the only starter for the Dodgers with an ERA below 4 at 3.29. The saddest thing, of course, is that Kuroda rarely gets the run support that he needs in order to win games. His record on the season is 2 and 4. From a baseball betting point-of-view, that makes Hiroki Kuroda difficult to wager on. It's a sad story for MLB sports betting fans-a great pitcher who never gets the support he needs.
The New York Mets counter with ace Johan Santana. Santana has been super solid this season. His ERA is a very good 3.41 and his record is 6 and 3. He isn't exactly a shut-down guy but online baseball betting fans automatically get at least 6 innings out of Santana every time he takes the mound. That means that he's a very good wager on the online wagering run-line.

If my predictions are even close to what's above, then this game doesn't really present many options for us. I do believe that Santana could, if anything, be an even bigger favorite in this game.
That would make things very difficult for us as BetUS online wagering fans. We would need to make a case for Kuroda even though that may not be possible.
The only real online bet then will be on the money-line. Can the Dodgers win this game even though Johan Santana figures to pitch into the sixth or even seventh innings?
I'm going to have to say yes because the Dodgers will be the underdog.
